Context

Leading the redesign of how customers browse fashion, beauty, and footwear categories — shifting from dense, information-first listings to an image-first, inspiration-driven experience that better matches how people actually shop those categories.

Role & Collaboration

Leading the initiative across two connected view types, working with business and category stakeholders to ensure the new views scale beyond soft-line categories to other business units.

Process

Designed two distinct view modes based on category needs — a fully inspirational view, where imagery is the primary engagement driver, requiring a complete redesign of the product card and results page; and an intermediate view, which keeps image as the lead element but reintroduces price and brand information. Validated with card sorting, guerrilla testing and Baymard Institute analysis.
