Context

Customers on both retail platforms had no single place to see accurate delivery information. The core pain point: they often had to call customer service multiple times just to understand which shipping options were available to them.

Role & Collaboration

Led the Delivery Options project for the Product Detail Page (PDP) end-to-end, coordinating closely with IT/engineering to redesign the underlying data call, and with business stakeholders across two retail brands to align on shared standards and definitions of delivery types.

Process

Identified that the real problem wasn't UI clutter but a backend/data problem masquerading as one — the page needed three separate calls for three delivery types, each surfaced inconsistently. Designed a single tabbed component so the page makes one consolidated call instead of several, benchmarked against global retail references.

Solution

A unified delivery-options component with tabs so customers can compare pickup, standard shipping, and express delivery from one place, without leaving the page or losing context.
